how do you know if you have been banned from one of the chat rooms?

We will update the FAQ section on this issue.
However to answer your question, once you have been kicked/banned from one of our chat rooms you will be notified by being forcefully removed from the room which will prompt a rooms list for you to join so you can participate in other rooms, with a double click. If you double click on a room and it will take you no further and will not allow you access to the room then you know you have been banned from that room.

You will not be notified you have been banned by a prompt box stating you have been banned.
